Feb/March Intermediate to Advance Upcycling
A Caro Uccellino one of a kind class, specializing in the upcycling of old clothing or textiles using your knowledge of sewing to experiment and create your own one of a kind design with assistance of Liz Nicole. Students must be comfortable on a sewing machine and bring their own items to up-cycle. Classes will be held in West Hollywood near The Grove.
A series of four 2-hour classes (8 Hours) for ages 16+
All students will be be bringing their own vintage textiles or clothing to upcycle. Please avoid crochet and stretch materials as these are more difficult to up-cycle and we want you to be able to finish your garment in the allocated time. All other materials will be provided.
In this class you will design and construct a garment using the methods of an up-cycler. This is not your typical sewing class.
Students can use a sewing machine provided by us or bring their own machine to class. We recommend learning to sew on the machine you plan on using forever as all machine vary slightly. At the end of the series of classes you will have the option to purchase the machine you learned on from us or before class begins we can send you a link to the machine we recommend investing in.

3/1/25 3pm-5pm
3/8/25 3pm-5pm (possible extra free hour)
3/15/25 3pm-5pm (possible extra free hour)
Skill level: should know how to hem, add button holes, add in a zipper, add in elastic waist band. It’s okay if you aren’t amazing at these things yet as long as you are confident in your work, these classes are to build and learn new skills.
Up-cycling doesn’t always go as planned, during the course of this class we may decided to add two extra hours (for free) if needed to complete your garments with us. it is not required for you to stay during this time and may not be needed.
*This is a group class with 3-5 students, You will receive reminder emails starting 1 week before class begins with all further information needed. Email us at anytime with questions.
Non refundable - can transfer to other courses if needed upon request.If your class isn’t full by February 8th you’ll get the option to upgrade to a private or a full refund. This is the only exception to our policy.
